Gabbi Anzalone Wins State InvestWrite Stock Market Essay Contest
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEighth grade student Gabbi Anzalone was recognized for her first place finish in the InvestWrite Stock Market Essay Contest. Gabbi finished first in the state in the middle-school division. Each semester, schools from across the state and nation submit essays to be judged. This fall Arlington students submitted essays related to creating a portfolio for non-profit organizations. The 500 to 900 word essays were judged by an independent panel to select a winner for each state. Gabbi was recognized at a surprise party for her class and was presented with a $50 check from the Nebraska Council on Economic Education. All Arlington eighth grade students play the stock market game through their semester-long Exploring Business course.
