Arlington High School Presentation to the United Nations Global Student Conference
Launch the media gallery 1 playerArlington High School Honors History students recently had the privilege of representing the United States at the United Nations Global Student Conference. The conference was in connection with the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. This year's theme was “Women and Slavery”. Arlington students presented the story of Rachel Bundy, an escaped slave, who won her freedom during a trial in Burlington in 1853. Click HERE to watch the video of the presentation.
