Arlington Elementary School will participate in Red Ribbon Week with schools throughout our country.  It is a special week designated for schools and families to discuss and do activities to promote a healthy lifestyle free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol. This is also the month to promote a Bully Free school. Students will discuss and complete activities during their guidance lessons to help them make healthy and responsible choices. These discussions also include staying safe on Halloween and “stranger danger”. Please use this opportunity to talk to your son/daughter about safe choices.

Our focus for the week will be, “My choices make me proud of me!” We will have some theme days for the students to participate in the school-wide celebration.  Students will need to comply with the normal dress code other than the special instructions for clothing.  Students will be allowed to participate as long as they meet normal expectations of respect and responsibility for their behavior and property.
