Nebraska School Counselor Association

Write an essay that describes how a school counseling program has assisted you to plan/decide/resolve/grow in a n area of your life. Topics may come from any K-12 experience




Pink Bandana Breast Cancer Scholarship

Student, dependent sibling of their parents or a parent having battled breast cancer in the past 10 years. Renewable for up to 4 years.




UNL Juan N. Franco Legacy

Students attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln that may be ineligible for financial aid. It is available to both incoming students and current students. This scholarship was created by the UNL Define American Chapter. Not qualified for financial aid

High school GPA of 2.5 or higher

College GPA of 2.5 or higher

Must be enrolled, or plan to enroll, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln




Memorial Community Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship

The scholarship is available to traditional and non-traditional students who reside in Burt or Washington County. Applicants must be seeking a career in at least one of the fields of discipline currently being offered by MCH Health System, Blair. One of the scholarships, named after Nurse Dorena Walker, will be awarded to a student specifically seeking a career in Nursing. Download application from your family connection. 4 $500 and 2 $1000 scholarships will be awarded.



Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants

Graduating senior, write a 750-1000 word essay in the form of a letter to family describing the impact of the Mayflower Compact had on the early family life of Plymouth Colony. Complete requirements and application on Naviance Student



Blair Optimist Club

This scholarship is held locally by the Blair Optimist Club. Three winners are awarded one $400 scholarship each. Two scholarships will be awarded to 4 year institutions and one scholarship will be awarded to a 2 year/technical institution. These scholarships are open to all Washington County seniors. Fremont Area Ass. Of Retired School Personnel

Must pursue a career in education or a trade, top 25% of class, academics, character, leadership need. More information and application is available on the Naviance Student.



Lincoln Builders Bureau

Applicant must be an employee or the child of an employee of a Lincoln Builders Bureau member company and pursue a program in construction science. For company eligibility, go to www.buildersbureau.com



Fremont Area Art Association

Attend a college or trade school to pursue a career in art. Submit a portfolio of work, essay and 2 letters of recommendation. Application is available on Naviance Student




Eastern Star

Horatio Alger Career and Technical
