Kindergarten roundup will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 (call to schedule one of four different sessions). Both child and parent will be involved for approximately one hour in various activities. If you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2020, please call the school at 478-4121 and provide us with the name, birth date, parents’ names, and addresses. Bring your child’s certified birth certificate, immunization record, and date of their kindergarten physical to roundup. Note that the kindergarten physical must take place after March 1, 2020. Please pass this information on to any friends/family, living in the district, that have a child that is eligible for kindergarten in the fall.

Infant/Toddler Screening

The Arlington Preschool will be offering a free screening service to help answer questions or concerns about early childhood development on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The service is for children from birth to age four. The screening is intended to identify any young children who may benefit from early intervention services.

If you have any concerns about a child’s learning, speech/language development, motor skills or how the child interacts with others you are encouraged to attend the preschool screening session.

During the ½ hour session, the children will be observed and parents will be given the opportunity to express their concerns and have any questions answered.
