Middle School Team Places Third in State in Nebraska Economics Challenge

Every year the Nebraska Council on Economic Education hosts the Nebraska Economics Challenge. The Challenge is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of Economic Literacy by competing with other students across the state in written examinations.
Each student completed an online exams that cover topics in macro, micro and international economics. The individual scores of each team member were then averaged to determine the final placings. The middle school team of Mackenzie O'Flaherty, Bailey Bracht, Grant Staats and Lucas O'Daniel earned a third place finish and each received a $10 cash prize. These four students are enrolled in the Exploring Business course this semester.
