Stopping for School Buses
Launch the media gallery 1 playerNationwide there has been very tragic incidents recently around school bus stops. Locally we experience continued issues with stop arm runs. We do use our cameras and work with law enforcement to try to address those situations as much as possible. Observation would suggest that drivers may not clearly understand the law. The Nebraska Safety Center has provided this graphic that details when drivers must stop for passengers based upon the specifics of the roadway.
